Ascoli Piceno's territory is really various: the Sibillini Mountains, Pilate Lake, the medioeval villages on the ills, the beach with a beautiful and golden sand. The Quintana is reborn and breaks into the ordinary tempo of the nights of the Middle Ages, when the feast of Sant'Emidio was celebrated as a "festivity with games and dances, in gaiety". In gaiety, precisely: not unknowingly, unconsciously One of the most important product of this area is the fish, the extra-vergin olive oil, the tipical vines and dishes like “ the brodetto alla sanbenedettese” or the famous “olive ascolane”.
